The first thing is a protein, most commonly used proteins for sinigang are pork, beef or shrimp, after is of course water, sinigang mix, and vegetables like radish, eggplant, string beans, okra, and leafy greens such as spinach and kangkong.

The materials needed for sinigang are, cooking pots, to put the sinigang in, cooking spoon or ladle to stir, a chooping board to cut vegetables and meat, a knife to cut, some materials are optional like tongs, strainers, etc.
